INTERNATIONAL ARTIST DAY

EXHIBITION

DECEMBER 8, 2023

ART IS WATCHING YOU

International Artist Day, celebrated on December 8, was founded in 2007 by the International Association "Art of the World's Peoples". This holiday isn't solely for professionals or art enthusiasts; beyond mere admiration, International Artist Day encourages everyone to embrace their inner creativity, fostering a deeper connection with the beauty and diversity present in the world.

The relationship between the artwork and the observer extends beyond a one-sided encounter. Art, in its multifaceted nature, observes the viewer as much as the viewer observes it. It captures the artist's vision and invites the observer to participate actively in the meaning-making process. Art possesses the ability to transform, challenge, and inspire, and in doing so, it profoundly impacts the human experience. So the next time you stand before a piece of art, remember that it is not just a static object; it watches you, engages with you, and beckons you to explore the depths of your own being.

Beyond art, Milana is actively engaged in various fields, including medical research and public health, international law, journalism, and public advocacy. Artist Statement

"Since 2014, I have been drawn to the technique of intuitive painting and abstraction, finding solace and endless creative possibilities within its realm. My preferred medium has been acrylic on canvas, providing a versatile foundation for my explorations. However, my artistic journey has been an ever-evolving adventure, constantly delving into new materials such as wood, textiles, glass, walls, ceramics, metal, markers on paper, painting on umbrellas, painting on cakes with food colors, and more. This exploration has allowed me to develop a unique mode of self-expression, reflecting a vibrant tapestry of experimentation and innovation.

As an artist and composer, I find a beautiful harmony between visual art and music. Many of my artworks and wearable art items are imbued with musical elements, enriching them with layers of auditory and visual sensations. My works are a symphony of color, life, and profound philosophical underpinnings. Each piece resonates with a kaleidoscope of emotions, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a world where colors sing and shapes dance with deep meaning.

The "ART IS WATCHING YOU" exhibition serves as an invitation for visitors to step into my enchanted world of harmony. It is an opportunity to experience the depths of my artistic expression while supporting a noble cause. During this charitable exhibition dedicated to the Planetary Health Organization, patrons have the chance to donate or 'buy for a cause,' contributing to the organization's global humanitarian support projects while bringing a piece of my artistry into their lives".
